Advocacy, the advice, and the real talk because your loved one deserves to be heard.

When a family places a loved one in a nursing home, assisted living, or memory care facility, they're trusting a system they don't fully understand. They don't know what the regulations require. They don't know what questions to ask. They don't know what good care actually looks like on the inside — or how to recognize when something is wrong.

I do. Because I spent more than 20 years working inside those facilities.

My background spans nursing homes. assisted living communities, and a non-clinical management role on a dementia unit — where I worked side by side with the unit nurse every single day. I understand how these systems operate, how decisions get made, where care falls through the cracks, and what it takes to get problems corrected.
But my experience isn't only professional. When my 95-year-old grandmother and her sister — my aunt — needed more care than our family could provide at home, we made the difficult decision to place them in a nursing home.
I became their advocate.

The difference for them was me. Not because I fought harder than any other family — but because I knew what questions to ask, what answers to expect, and what to do when something needed to change.

Their quality of care was excellent — not perfect, but excellent — because I understood the system from the inside. I knew their rights. I knew the standards. And when something wasn't right, I knew exactly how to address it before it became a crisis.

Most families don't have that advantage.
You Hear Me Now exists to give it to them.

My approach

I’m not here to instigate a conflict or pursue legal battles. My goal is to help families get problems resolved — and help facilities identify their blind spots — before a concern becomes a crisis. I focus on my area of expertise: care quality, staffing, family rights, documentation, and dignity. That focus is intentional, and it is what makes this work effective.

You deserve someone in your corner who can help you figure out what to do next.

That is what I am here for. You Hear Me Now.
